Eliza received her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary and Bachelor of Psychology from York University in Toronto. She received her clinical training in the CBT Clinic at CAMH. She has worked in the area of mood and anxiety disorders for over 15 years in both clinical and research roles at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and at the F.W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Eliza has extensive experience providing individual and group CBT for people with mood and anxiety disorders, with expertise in obsessive compulsive disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, hoarding disorder, body-focused repetitive behaviours, major depressive disorder, and social anxiety. Eliza is also trained in, and provides Mindfulness-Based Cognitive therapy in both group and individual formats. She is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, and the International OCD Foundation.
