Dr. Barbara Mann, Registered Psychologist
Dr. Barbara Mann brings over 25 years of experience to the practice of psychology, helping children, adolescent and adults to overcome life's most challenging issues, including depression, trauma, constant worry, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive behaviour, shyness, attachment issues, childhood abuse and neglect as well as other major childhood disorders. Dr. Mann has particular interest in gay and lesbian issues, Asperger's Syndrome, learning disabilities, children in care as well as indigenous populations. Dr Mann tailors a treatment plan to address each client's unique needs and goals employing a variety of treatment modalities including, but not exclusive to cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, trauma focused modalities (e.g. EMDR) and schema therapy (e.g. a therapy used to change maladaptive patterns arising from childhood).
