Dr. Kim van Walsum, Ph.D.
Dr. Kim van Walsum, Ph.D. is a psychologist by training with a special interest in the intersection of psychology, physical health, and wellness.
Dr. van Walsum has published and presented internationally on relationships and mindfulness in healthcare. She has held positions in the Musculoskeletal Clinic at the New Alberta Children's Hospital, as faculty in Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Texas A&M College of Medicine, and as a Program Director in Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health in New England. Her doctoral residency was in the cutting edge Behavioral Health track at the University of Texas at Austin's University Health Center in Austin, Texas.

Fees are $125 CAD per 50 minute session for psychotherapy; $50 CAD per 80 minute session for group psychotherapy; assessment and consultation costs average $125 CAD per hour. Total cost for a comprehensive assessment may range between $600 and $1500 CAD depending on the tests required.
All private psychological services including psychotherapy, psychological consultation, and psychological assessments are confidential, and under the supervision of a registered psychologist. Private psychological services are located at the offices of the Telka Smith Practice in Psychology in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
